Great food super fast service

Our first restaurant since this cov19 people are pleasant we r truck drivers and had a awesome time and dinner was good. So thank you.

Another hidden jewel of Vandalia , OH. Great service and the carefully prepared dishes touches multiple taste buds that have you craving for more. I will definitely be a regular customer whenever I'm in the area.

Portion sizes were great and so was the food 😋!

The food at this El Toro is generally good and the servers are friendly. However, every time I have been here, they were understaffed and it took way too long to get our check or find our waiter. On many occasions, they play the music too loud, making it difficult to talk to the person across the table. Moreover, the music is a very discordant style of Mariachi, almost like experimental jazz that borders on noise. I think El Toro would be a solid restaurant if they increased their staff and turned down the music a notch.

Placed an order through door dash, this review has everything to do with El Toro and nothing to do with door dash. When I received my order part of it wasn't bagged up. Then the chili relleno that I received had a large stem inside it. This stem was at least 2 1/2 inches long and extremely hard, I didn't see it when I took my bite and almost choked on it. We even took pictures of it so we could send them to them if they wanted to see it. Needless to say I lost my appetite. They only gave me partial credit on my order even though I didn't eat any part of it.

Horrible service had to wait 10 minutes to get seated, not because of crowd, but everyone pulling double and triple duty. Took 10 minutes to get someone to wait on us after we were told to go sit in the bar. We didnt even get to eat our lunch, had to have it boxed up to go because it took 30 minutes to get 2 taco salads prepared.

Better than average Mexican food place. Seems more authentic with better ingredients.

We have been going to ONLY this El Toro for 12 years. They are the best. The food and service are amazing. The margaritas are outstanding (thanks Lalo). Isreal and his team treat us as family and even though we have moved out of state, we ALWAYS come back to visit. My son has grown up knowing the staff, as we ate here every week. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

My wife and I like coming here on dates or anniversaries. We love the atmosphere and talking while sipping margaritas. The food and service are always great..

My wife and I have dined at this restaurant for the past ten years. We have enjoyed many good times and always enjoyed good meals here UNTIL TODAY. On the front door there is a big yellow cardboard sign with hand writing that reads,"NO MASK NO ENTRY"This is UNACCEPTABLE imo and as a result, I will never return to this location. Instead, we went to the El Toro on Miller Lane where there is not a sign forcing customers to wear a mask before entering the building. As long as there is a sign forcing people to comply (wear a mask) we will not dine here.Isreal, I hope you have read this and will reconsider with what you are doing in regards to managing your store.

I this review is for the restaurant across from meijer. I already made a 2 star review. About poor service and bad food it wouldn't let make another review for that restaurant. I talked to the manger juan about poor service and he hangs up on me if there was a choice of 0 stars. I would have chosen that one .the manager is rude and unprofessional. The food is bad and the drinks are not consistent. But people remember poor service more than the food .and I going to cooperate about this unprofessional man. Again this is the restaurant across from meijer. Juan is rude unprofessional. And if you have had poor and unprofessional service. Let everyone know.

Sorry I ate half the Taco before I took the photo. Yet all the food was excellent. I will most definitely eat here again if I am ever in the area. Thank you El Toro for a great experience.

This restaurant has awful customer service. I made a simple order for pickup over the phone and was told the price would be 7 or 8 dollars. I go in to pick up my order and the “manager” rings me up for 17.50. I explained my order and the conversation I had with one of his associates. He called the man I talked to over and HE LIED TO HIM AND THEY LAUGHED ABOUT IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I asked him if there was anything he could do since I made the trip there and he said “17.50. Take it or leave it”. The only reason I go here is because it’s close. LA FIESTA in Englewood and Troy have superior food and customer service. No wonder this food chain is struggling. Make the farther trip for the better food and service. Don’t waste your time at this struggling chain

Ordered the combo fajitas. Chicken and beef. Delivery. Very disappointed. Over $15. For the combo. And there was 3 oz. Of meat. 10 oz. Of veggies. It was ridiculous. For that amount of money. I can get a 6-10 oz. Steak with two sides. For that price. I MIGHT give them a second chance. Definitely won't order the fajitas. Bad first impression.

Friendly staff, good food

Don’t deserve 1 star! Extremely rude! Was told there was a 10 min wait for party of three, asked to wait outside for social distancing, completely understand this request and complied happily. Then 4 other groups walked right in and were seated in front of us all while we were patiently waiting our turn.El rancho grande was happy to serve us😀

Wasn't all that impressed. I ordered the shrimp fajitas with no tomatoes, no refried beans and double rice. I got steak fajitas with tomatoes, no beans and a single side of rice. I opted not to send it back because I like steak fajitas, but I'm sure the leather my work boots are made from would be much more tender. The flavor was good but that's about all I can say for it. I've worked many years in a kitchen so I understand everyone has aoff day so I will give it another shot, hopefully they will not disappoint the next time.

Go here for lunch because of quick service. Clean restaurant, tables and chairs. Lunch combos are a good value for portions sizes. One time they tried to charge me $1 for side of cilantro but when I told them I thought that was a bit much they took it off completely. Also have $1 Taco Tuesday with beef or chicken.

What more can you say other than Taco Tuesday! Went here on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised. Service was quick, friendly, and nice. From ordering to eating took maybe 10mins, and the restaurant was packed, but we got a table in no time. Bigger parties may have a wait but dinner for to was fast. And again Taco Tuesday!!!! Dollar tacos all day long, come on.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant for a few years untill tonight. My parents came from out of town to spend time with our 21 yr old birthday boy and to celebrate with us. As we were sitting there finishing up, I was looking for our waitress to come back so I could let her know about our celebration, ( we were sitting in the back near the restrooms so we were out of the eye of the front of the restaurant.) There was a very ride man that was waiting for our table and that walked by and basically told us to leave. The staff obviously let them know that they were waiting on us. We will definitely NOT be back!!! I will not spend another dollar there.

I eat in this great spot from time to time! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I visit this spot many times. The meals are very tasty, the staff members are welcoming and the prices are fair. I enjoy being in this place over a decent supper.
